Accessibility Statement
Last updated: June 1, 2026
BD Nova UG (haftungsbeschränkt) is committed to making the NegotiateIt service accessible to as many people as possible, including users with disabilities. This statement describes the current state of accessibility, known limitations, and how to contact us with feedback.
Scope
This statement applies to the NegotiateIt website at negotiateit.ai and the NegotiateIt mobile and web applications.
Standard We Aim For
We aim to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, as incorporated into European standard EN 301 549, which is the conformance standard for the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) and its German implementation (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG).
Conformance Status
Partial conformance. The Service partially conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Some parts of the Service do not yet fully meet the standard. We are actively working to address known gaps.
Known Limitations
We are aware of the following areas that may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA:
- Some interactive negotiation scenes use animated character portraits and dynamic emotional-state indicators that may not have a fully accessible alternative for users relying on screen readers. We are working on equivalent text-based descriptions.
- The AI-generated short video clips used as technique demonstrations do not yet include captions or audio descriptions. Captions are planned.
- Keyboard navigation works for primary flows but may not yet cover every interactive element with optimal focus order.
If you encounter an accessibility barrier not listed above, please tell us — see Feedback below.
Feedback and Contact
If you experience accessibility barriers using NegotiateIt, or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us:
Email: legal@negotiateit.ai
We aim to respond to accessibility-related contacts within five working days.
Enforcement Procedure
If you contact us about an accessibility issue and are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the competent market surveillance authority for the European Accessibility Act in your jurisdiction. In Germany, oversight for the BFSG is handled by the market surveillance authorities of the federal states (Marktüberwachungsbehörden der Länder). The federal coordination point is the Bundesfachstelle für Barrierefreiheit.
Preparation of This Statement
This statement was prepared on May 14, 2026, based on a self-assessment by BD Nova UG (haftungsbeschränkt). We will review and update this statement at least annually and following any significant change to the Service.
